The ISSU AGM 2013 took place on Wednesday the 27th of March in the Clocktower Building of the Department of Education, Marlborough Street, Dublin 1. It’s a great opportunity to meet with student council members from across the country, and to have your voices heard on ISSU policies and to elect the next National Student Executive of the ISSU. The theme of this year’s AGM is ‘Bullying’.
Our annual AGM is the primary decision making event for the Irish Second-Level Students’ Union where decisions are made democratically about what issues and projects the ISSU tackles for the year ahead. #issu13
Patricia Kennedy, Sticks and Stones, Billy Hawkes, Data Protection Commissioner, John Lonergan, former Governor of Mountjoy Prison and Dr Patrick Geoghegan, Dean of Undergraduate Studies TCD will address delegates at this year’s AGM. Minister Ruairi Quinn will deliver his annual Keynote address.

Each member school can send two voting delegates, and up to two non-voting delegates. Non-member schools can send two non-voting delegates.
Any student of a member school can run for any position on the National Student Executive, they do not have to attend the AGM but it is recommended that they do.
