Regional Councils

Our Regional Council Meetings are held every year in the autumn time, in our 16 regions.

Any member school is entitled to attend a regional council meeting in their region, with non-members attending as observers.

These will take place in Autumn 2024 all over the country.

  • It is the role of each ISSU Regional Council to represent second-level Student Councils in their region and develop a constructive forum for local issues, and through this prioritise issues to bring to the attention of the ISSU Regional Officer Body.

  • Regional Officers are elected at the Regional Councils, and become a part of the Regional Officer Body (ROB)

Skills Academy 2024 is a fantastic 3-day in-person, workshop and training event for young people to come together and realise their voice. We had a jam-packed agenda, featuring workshops, training and meetings with stakeholders and politicians - essential ingredients for creating empowered activists!

The next Debate Your Decision Makers will be in Feb 2025
