Safer Internet Day is organised by Insafe each year in February to promote safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially amongst children and young people across the world. The topic for 2010 is "Think B4 U post!".In 2009 Safer Internet Day was celebrated through 500 events in 50 countries all over the world. The NCTE coordinate events in Ireland. Stay safe online, don't do something you would regret. CAO, "It's Decision Time"

Once registered for your CAO..... You must complete your course options before 5.15pm on February 1st 2010 online @ www.cao.ie to avoid late change of mind fees. Talk to your school guidance counselor if you are still unsure of course options. The website Qualifax is great for researching course information. Don't leave it until the last minute, the CAO website can get very busy in the lead-up to the closing deadline!!

Pre/Mock Examinations 2010

Ok, so the mocks are getting closer now. Don't panic - just relax. The mocks are preparation for the real exams in June and should be treated as such. They are a valuable indicator of your progress to date - and is the only time that you can sit a paper in real exam conditions using a paper that you have never seen before. Try your best, answer honestly, and don't go searching the Internet for 'paper spoilers' - it's really not worth it; you have from now until June to perfect your answers and reach your full potential.
