The Secretariat consists of the staff members of ISSU. The Secretariat aids with the administrative work of the ISSU and supports the elected bodies. The Secretariat is based full-time in the ISSU office in Liberty Hall, Dublin.

Tracey Lyons

Tracey leads the ISSU Secretariat and liaises with the board to ensure the unions strategic goals are achieved. Tracey has previously worked for the charity Alone and TUD and brings a wealth of experience to the ISSU.

Saoirse Daly

Saoirse is the staff member responsable for supporting the Coiste Gnó and MAC on their work nationally. Saoirse served as the Vice-President of Education at TU Dublin Students’ Union from 2022 to 2023.

Luke Daly

Luke has responsibility for supporting and encouraging the Regional Officer Body. Luke was the Deputy President, Education and Welfare/Equality Officer at TU Dublin Students’ Union from 2018 to 2021. Luke is also ISSUs Designated Liaison Person.

Jamie Mac Giolla Bháin

Jamie is responsible for managing the finances of the ISSU as well as other organisational and clerical tasks. Jamie has been involved in the student movement for 6 years, and is a former ISSU Sustainability Officer.
