Call for ISSU Trainers
The Irish Second-Level Students’ Union is looking to expand our Pool of Trainers!
To help us deliver training to student councils in the upcoming academic year, we are looking for up to 15 individuals to join the team. Training will be delivered online (there may potentially be some in-person events, pending public health guidelines) and Trainers will be remunerated for their work and any associated expenses. Trainings will take place from September - December 2021 (PEAK), and January - April 2022 (OFF-PEAK).

We are looking for trainers who….
Are passionate about student voice.
Have experience working with student councils and young people.
Are familiar with non-formal education methods.
Are looking for part-time, flexible work in the coming months.
Are punctual, self-starter and can take initiative.
Have access to their own laptop and a stable internet connection.
In return, we can provide
An hourly rate of €14.50 for trainings (each online training = 2.5 hours work)
A flexible schedule to suit your availability.
Reimbursement costs for any transport incurred for in-person events.
Facilitation training.
Successful applicants will need to be available on the following days.
Interview: Wednesday 25th August (times tbd)
Facilitation Training: 2nd OR 4th September 10AM - 3PM
Inclusion in the ISSU Pool of Trainers is subject to the ISSU receiving a clear Garda Vetting Disclosure from you and confirmation that you have completed appropriate Child Protection training (provided at the Facilitation Training).
