An Chomhdháil Bhliantiúl (Annual Assembly)
An Chomhdháil Bhliantiúl is the most important event of the year for ISSU Members.
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED FOR 2024
Student Representatives from schools in every corner of the Republic of Ireland come together to feed into the work of the ISSU and its policies for the coming years and learn skills to aid them in furthering student voice in their own schools.
The Coiste Gnó (National Student Executive) & Monitoring and Advisory Committee Elections also take place, electing the Officers who will work on behalf of the union on a national level for the coming year.
An Chomhdháil BHLIANTÚIL WILL TAKE PLACE ON Tuesday april 2nd & Wednesday APRIL 3rd, 2024
In 2024, An Chomhdháil Bhliantúil day 1 will be entirely online and day 2 will have delegates attending in-person. Bot days will feature workshops, guest speakers as well as policy session and elections.
Delegates must be attending on behalf of their student council.
Each member school of the ISSU is entitled to send 2 OFFICIAL (voting) delegates, as well as between 2 OBSERVER delegates. Please consult within your delegation who regarding who will be the voting delegates.
Non Member Schools may send 2 observer delegates. If you are unsure of your school’s membership status go to ISSU.ie/membership to check!

Motions & Policy
Motions related to the ISSU Constitution and ISSU Policies are also voted on, steering the direction of the organisation for future years. These are submitted by ISSU Member School Student Councils or bodies within ISSU. The submission deadline has passed for motions and policies for 2024.
